LEGO Death Star Display Case – Prototype Testing

LEGO® Star Wars™ Death Star Display Case

For quite some time, I hesitated over whether to design a display case for LEGO Star Wars 75419. To be honest, the design of this Death Star set is quite different from what I had originally expected. In my opinion, this LEGO set can hardly be called a complete “Death Star” — at best, it is a slice of the Death Star. And since it is a “slice,” it makes sense to appreciate it primarily from the front.

That said, when viewed from the front, the set does have its merits. The internal details are exceptionally rich, and there is a lot to discover within the structure.

To properly accommodate this massive model, we designed an equally impressive display case. Made entirely of high-quality acrylic, the case measures up to 85 cm in length. An integrated lighting system has been installed inside, and the background panel continues the design concept we previously used for the Millennium Falcon (LEGO® 75192) display case base. With the help of lighting, we created a hyperspace travel effect that enhances the overall visual impact. The light switch is discreetly placed at the lower right corner of the front panel for easy access.

For everyday convenience, the display case features a front-opening door design. The entire front panel is magnetically attached to the case, allowing you to easily open the door whenever you need to access or adjust the LEGO model inside.

Today, the prototype has been fully completed. After final testing, this display case will be officially released. Stay tuned — it’s coming soon.
