Hi everyone, I’m JWOO. Time flies, I noticed that I’ve been in the toy display showcase industry for five years. Over the next few posts, I’ll be revisiting and sharing with you some of my most notable creations.
The first project dates back to 2020. It was my very first attempt to create a display showcase for myself, specifically design for LEGO set 43179 (Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Buildable Characters). At the beginning, I didn’t ask help from a professional factory while as everything was handcrafted in a small workshop and using whatever material I could find.

Back then, if you wanted a dust cover for your LEGO sets, the only option on the market was a plain transparent box. Mickey and Minnie will look lonely, boring and out of place inside those uninspiring cases. That didn’t seem right to me. They deserved better place like the same stage of their own!
A stage? Yes, that was the idea.

Inspired by the style of Broadway shows, I created a custom platform for these two iconic characters. After several rounds of tweaks and modifications, here we go – a stage just for Mickey & Minnie. I even added the light to the final work.
