Hi folks, we’re introducing a display case designed specifically for the Land Rover Defender (LEGO 42110). The 42110 Land Rover is a beautifully designed car, a must-have for any off-road vehicle collection fans.

To maintain consistency with the flagship race car display cases, the base dimensions of this case are kept the same, which is allowing for easy stacking of both models. However, this display case is slight tallier than the flagship one, with overall dimensions of 65cm x 31.5cm x 29cm (L x W x H). It features a Front-opening door design, with a magnetic door panel for easy access, especially when stacking multiple cases together.

To emphasize the off-road nature of the Land Rover Defender, we have introduced a new feature onto the base of the display case which is a simulated rock material. While this material is commonly used in the model-making industry, it’s rarely seen in car model display cases, making it a unique add-on part for this piece.

The background of the display case is made from a large mirrored surface, forming at 90-degree angle. The light reflection creates an intriguing effect, especially when being viewed from a 45-degree angle, giving the interior of the display case an “infinite” depth. We may continue using this design strategy in the future projects.

The display case is a solid, pre-assembled unit with a high loading weight capacity. Cases from the same series can be stacked for the multi-layer displays. Now, let’s take a look at the real-life product!
