This display case is the third display box designed for the LEGO Technic flagship racing series. It features two design options: a Flip-top version and a Front-opening version. The flip-top case uses a piece large transparent acrylic cover and it will have an astonishing look when the lid is opened. The front-opening version adopts the scheme of door opening action. The door panel has built-in magnetic, so it will be easy to open when the multi-layer display boxes are stacked together.

The overall appearance of the two display cases is very similar and the size is also the same. The size of the box is: 65cm x 31.5cm x 27cm (length * width * height).

The base of the display box is designed with a beveled surface to better display the three-dimensional outline of the car model. The floor has been made to mimic the track effect and simulated brake tire marks have been added to complement the sportiness of the car. The wheel keepers have been pre-set on the floor which a small detail that makes it easier to place the car model on the inclined stand.

The linear look on the back of the display case is inspired by the classic side profile of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. We use multiple pieces of laser-cut yellow acrylic panels to splice them together on a solid black background plate, thus create a strong three-dimensional effect. And it will look even better if it is viewed from the side or when there are light on the case.

The display case is one-piece product with no assembly required. It also has a high load-bearing capacity to make them easily being stacked together to save space. Let’s take a look at the physical effect of this showcase.
