This display case is designed specifically for the LEGO Technic Ferrari Daytona SP3 (42143) from the flagship race car series. It offers two design options: a flip-open edition and a door-open edition. The flip-open edition features a large transparent acrylic cover which is creating a stunning visual impact after being opened. The door-open edition uses a magnetic door panel which is making it more convenient to access the models if you stack multiple cases together.

Both versions have a similar overall appearance and consistent dimensions, with the display case measuring 65cm x 31.5cm x 27cm (2.56”x1.24”x1.06”) (L x W x H).

We designed the back part of the case from the idea of highlighting the beautiful rear end of the Ferrari Daytona SP3. It features laser-cut acrylic panels arranged to replicate the contours of the car’s rear profile and tail lights.

The base of the display case has a slanted platform, which enhances the three-dimensional display of the car model. The floor is made from a large mirrored surface, which increases the sense of space inside the display case and reflects the 3D elements of the background. Wheel stops are integrated into the floor to help keep the car model on the base securely.

The display case is a solid, pre-assembled unit with a high weight loading capacity. The same units can be modular stacked together. Now, let’s take a look at the real-life product!
